Chameleonize are a 5-piece acid-jazz / funk-fusion band based in New York City. The musicians have been playing together since 2015, but collected as "Chameleonize" in August of 2018.
Band members include Gabi Riel on vocals and alto saxophone, Mo LaMastro and Brian Gipson on guitar, Ben Rudolph on drums, Mikey Rotunno on bass, and Gabe Weissman on keyboard.
Some influences include Erykah Badu, Snarky Puppy, and Hiatus Kaiyote. Combining complex musical sequences with attractive pop melodies and hip-hop grooves, they exhibit a unique twist on contemporary music.
Gallons of Pork
Gallons of Pork blurs the lines between genres with versatile music that’s hoghly addictive, loaded with chemicals, packaged and ready to serve. April 2016 marked the release of their sophomore album “It Might be Beans” a sonic-adventure that ranged from weird to even more bizarre. The album features songs that incorporate their improvisational & multi-genre instincts into the freshest new sound you could hope for from farm to table.
A band left for dead after the Summer of 2010, STATES was revived in the Fall of 2018. Their music beckons back to 90's Indie Rock, following in the musical steps of some of their heroes, such as Pavement, Built To Spill, Animal Collective, as well as Frank Zappa and The Grateful Dead. Led by principle songwriter, guitarist/vocalist Adam "Hawaii" Magnan (Teddy Midnight), the band also consist of contributing songwriter and guitarist/vocalist Leland "Montana" Murphy, bass player, Jonny "Juan Minnesota" Patrizio (Bushicks), and drummer Mike "Rhode Island" Griggs.
