Formed in Brandon, Mississippi, in 2014, Empty Atlas has been slowly winning over a wide-reaching fan base throughout the South with its energetic, melodic indie-rock sound and its heavier lyrical core.

Empty Atlas, fronted by singer-songwriter Micah Smith, self-released its debut full-length, “Hestia,” at the end of 2016. Written and recorded over the course of a year, the album, featuring single “House Fire,” centers on narratives of home and comfort, and what the search for those concepts can mean.

Since its formation, Empty Atlas has performed with national touring acts such as Broadside, Cardinal Sons, Sweet Crude, Secret Stuff, Ivadell, Hodera and Young Natives.
