A born storyteller, Josh Arbour’s genre bending original style never fails to amaze, with the formation of the Josh Arbour Band, Josh has assembled a seasoned group of musicians: String Quartet/Ensembles, Horn Sections, and mini Big Band to infuse his original songs with so much life that audiences are often left breathless.
Introduced to Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, and Bob Dylan, lyric driven folk-blues has played a truly significant role in his songwriting. Josh’s life would forever change upon discovering Tom Waits, ‘Small Change’ album, Nina Simone’s 1967 album, ‘Sings The Blues’, and Prince’s self-titled 1979 album. Billie Holiday’s, ‘Lady in Satin’, a box of 10” Bessie Smith records, and Joni Mitchell’s, ‘Blue’ album would also begin his love affair with strong influential female singer-songwriters. 90’s R&B is another inspiration to Josh Arbour’s vast musical genre influences.
Josh is humbled by the praise he is receiving from social media, crowd-sourced reviews, and general word of mouth. Josh’s career is just beginning to take wings. His self titled EP has received glowing reviews.
Josh is capturing the attention of touring musicians on the National scene and is in demand as an opening act for established names in the music industry. The general consensus is that Josh is on the verge of an enduring musical career.
Lilli & the HONEY
Lilli &the Honey is a band of LA natives who were friends and neighbors first and collaborators second. Coincidentally, or fatefully, producer and pianist, Jason Goldstein, and lead singer, Lilli Passero, grew up down the street from each other often at each other’s houses in the background of their parents’ dinner parties. Meanwhile, Lilli and George Fierro III, the band’s guitarist, were introduced in 2014 by a mutual friend. He became Lilli’s go-to guitarist and even played for her very first audition for The Voice in which she went on to become a Top 10 finalist. In the early spring of 2018 they finally decided to start writing together and that’s when Lilli introduced Jason and George. The 3 have been writing together ever since and just released their first single, “Did Ya Know?” This is the band’s first time playing The Troubadour. You can find Lilli & the Honey on Instagram and Facebook.
