Renowned for his passionate vocals, Ed Roland is best known as the frontman and principal songwriter of platinum selling rock band Collective Soul. With seven #1 hits under his belt, Roland stays busy not only with Collective Soul, but also with his rootsier band Ed Roland & the Sweet Tea Project. The two-time Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductee has solo projects in the works as well.

Each year, Roland brings together some of his musician friends to play for his annual series of Christmas charity concerts at Atlanta's Eddie’s Attic. He returns this year Dec. 19-21 for concerts that will support various causes that are close to his heart.

“I’ve been doing these shows for 10 years and it is an honor for me to be able to give back to the Atlanta community that I love,” says Roland. “This is what it is all about.”

The Ed Roland & Friends show on Monday, December 19 will benefit The TJ Martel Foundation. The T.J. Martell Foundation is the music industry's largest foundation that funds innovative medical research focused on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS. The Foundation sources and supports early- stage research projects aimed at developing more effective clinical treatments for patients which otherwise might not be funded. On Tuesday, December 20, proceeds will benefit Pets for Vets, The Pets for Vets program is dedicated to supporting veterans and providing a second chance for shelter pets by rescuing, training and pairing them with America’s veterans. For more information, visit http://www.petsforvets.com/ga/.

The night of Wednesday, December 21, proceeds will go to Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s (CRK) mission is to advocate and secure the protection and stewardship of the Chattahoochee River its tributaries and watershed, in order to restore and preserve their ecological health for the people and wildlife that depend on the river system. Established in 1994, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) is an environmental advocacy organization with more than 7,000 members dedicated solely to protecting and restoring the Chattahoochee River Basin — drinking water source for nearly four million people.
