Bobby Thompson Trio

Bobby Thompson has fronted bands like Revelator Hill and Blueheart Revival, and has recently formed a new trio to not only highlight his masterful singing, songwriting, and musicianship, but feature the excellent rhythm section of Ben Tufts (drums, backing vocals) and Christopher Brown (bass). This trio pulls material from Bobby's previous bands, as well as new material from his next album, due out in 2019. In the tradition of some of the greatest power trios, this group works well in the dynamic worlds of both volume and subtlety.

Over the years, he has been a member of an eclectic roster of groups, including; The Warren Haynes Band, the Susan Tedeschi Band, the Dizzy Gillespie Quintet, Gil Scott-Heron and Root Boy Slim.
