This event is all ages
moePods is a brand new project featuring former members of
Ominous Seapods and current members of moe. Max Verna, Tom
Pirozzi, Brian Mangini, and Ted Marotta of the Seapods join forces
with Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico of moe.
Ominous Seapods built a loyal, national fanbase touring throughout
the 1990’s filling venues coast to coast. The band officially ended in
2001 but have played a handful of reunion shows since that time.
Their first show in 7 years took place at the Cohoes Music Hall in
January of 2018 and was met with great enthusiasm from their fans.
moe is the preeminent progressive rock band on the music scene
today. In a remarkable career that has touched three decades and
produced a discography of 24 albums. From their humble,
inconspicuous beginnings as a local bar band in Buffalo, NY, to
headlining Radio City Music Hall on New Year’s Eve.
Since one member of Ominous Seapods is currently living in Australia,
they are not planning any more shows at this time. However, moe.
and Ominous Seapods are long time friends and often toured together
in the 1990’s. A chance conversation between Tom Pirozzi and Al
Schnier eventually led to the creation of moePods.
moePods will feature high intensity jams reaching deep into the
Seapods and moe. catalogue. This is a one of a kind show that
should not be missed.
