A nod to the multiverse-inspired concept of "extraordinary magnitude," Exmag interprets soulful sounds of the future through bouncy space-funk poised to take flight. Informed by climbing synth melodies and effected strings, ExMag music boasts pronounced hip-hop atmospherics complementing its journey-inducing groove arrangements.

It all started out of frustration of being in bands that would end as soon as they began by Ian Rasmussen in 2005 while attending school in Los Angeles. A year later Ian moved back to Sacramento where he finished completing Telemetry's first release "The Lemon Tree EP" in 2008, which is available on iTunes. Eventually Ian would run into ex-band mate Ryan Dearcos from a band they played in when they were younger. After hearing the EP, Ryan asked if Telemetry was playing any shows and Ian told them all they need was a bass player. Not long after that conversation Ryan calls Ian asking if he could try out for bass. After one jam session things were in place.

With Ryan on board, Telemetry started working on their upcoming album Awaking From Temptation due out this summer. You can preview four songs from the upcoming album at www.facebook.com/telemetrymusic. Plans are already in the works for the next record so Telemetry has no plans of slowing down or fading away any time soon.
