The Rock And Roll Playhouse

The Rock and Roll Playhouse, a family concert series hosted at First Avenue, Brooklyn Bowl, The Capitol Theatre, Industry City, Ardmore Music Hall, The Sinclair, Boulder Theater, and Thalia Music Hall, allows kids to “move, play and sing while listening to works from the classic-rock canon” (NY Times). Using the songs created by the most iconic musicians in rock history, The Rock and Roll Playhouse offers its core audience of babies and kids games, movement, and stories and an opportunity to rock out. The Rock and Roll Playhouse is an early and often first introduction to a child's lifelong journey with live music and rock and roll.

Mr. Steve - The Music Man

Mr. Steve, The Music Man creates high-quality, socially conscious music for kids. Writing and performing original songs, Mr. Steve is a music teacher who hosts his own hour long, morning show on Lightning 100 called The Early Birds with Mr. Steve. Featuring special guests, fun themes, and call in questions each week, The Early Birds is entertaining for both kids and adults, providing positive, spirit lifting content to listen to on the way to school and work! Mr. Steve has become the premier kids performer in the Nashville area, hosting and curating the Kids Music Festival at Live on the Green each year, partnering up with the Governor and his wife for their summer reading initiative “Read to Be Ready,” and playing well known Nashville spots such as Third Man Records. Listen to his most recent album, Earth Party, on Spotify or iTunes!

Join us for a Holiday Party where we'll sing and dance with our kiddos to the music of The Beatles! Children under 1 free.

The Rock and Roll Playhouse knows that little ears are sensitive, so we turn down the volume at our shows. However, all kids experience music differently and you may find that your child is more comfortable wearing hearing protection earmuffs, such as Baby Banz, which are available for purchase here.
