Emily Cavanagh is a Singer/Songwriter in New York City, originally from Chicago. Her latest releases, “Paper Moon," & "Bootlegs from the Continental," have had her on the road for the past year with dates in Memphis, Nashville, Boston, South Carolina, St. Louis, Dublin, London, the UK and South Africa. She kicked off her tour here to a sold out show in our Rockwood Stage 3 last December, and will be back again November 15th with an all acoustic set. Her record "Paper Moon," produced by Leo Sidran, and written entirely in Ireland, has garnered radio play in Dublin, features in AXS and Medium, "Little Things" and "Ditty TV" and play on all major music platforms-Spotify, Pandora, Tidal. Cavanagh is a regular performer in NYC, and a published songwriter---songs like the instrumental of her song "Treehouse" have been featured in commercial and trailer work, last year the trailer for Woody Harrelson's film, “Wilson."
In addition to music, Emily runs Emily Cavanagh Music, an LLC she has just launched--combinging music and activism, work she has done for nearly ten years now-- developing creative arts programs in shelters for homeless young adults & refugees and working as both a musician and a contractor for arts-non-profits alike.
