Their live sound builds on a sturdy foundation of lyrical storytelling & animated harmonies.
GT_ have opened for nationally touring acts LOLO, Bombadil, and 2014 NPR Favorite new artist The Family Crest. They have had the pleasure of performing at the annual Chikombuso Women's and Orphan's Project at the Jonathan Edwards Vineyard in July 2017. The following September, they won 1st place in the Katrina’s $1,000 Open Mic Challenge and appeared on the Gloucester television series “Local Music Seen” in Fall of 2017.
The pair just released their first acoustic single, "Sugar", and are currently working on a Live EP, due out later this year. They are excited to continue recording for their first full length album at Red Bull Studios in New York.
Hayfitz is the intimate new solo project of Oh Malô founder, Brandon Hafetz. After several years touring with the band across the United States and Canada, the Brooklyn based songwriter is now exploring a new, more subdued musical direction. With vocals reminiscent of Keaton Henson and the late Nick Drake, Hayfitz delicately delivers autobiographical stories free of emotional boundaries, supported by melancholic guitar voicings. He is fresh off a European tour and currently in the recording stages of his debut record.
MAHDI KHENE was born in Algeria, when he was one year old he moved with his family to NYC. He's been traveling a long while, spent some time in D.C, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, and Virginia only to make a full circle and find himself back in New York. His music is folky, rocky, bluesy, a little bit of everything. He's an echo of the past and wants to bring it all back home.
