The Outline

The Outline

The Outline are an experimental rock band, formed in Los Angeles in 2002 by high school friends Graham Fink, Austen Lee, Max St. John, and Ryan Rabin. With driving rock and touches of synth, the Outline's sound earned a deal with Fearless / Capitol Records. Produced by Chris Fudurich (Nada Surf, Jimmy Eat World), they released their first full-length, You Smash It, We'll Build Around It, in July 2006, followed by sophomore LP Phantasmagoria in 2009, and the Who You Love EP in 2010. The band's résumé includes gigs with My Chemical Romance, Jack's Mannequin, Panic! at the Disco, Say Anything, and Mew.

The Outline made a name for themselves playing LA clubs in the early 00's and went on to tour internationally for several years before the members separately developed other prominent LA bands Grouplove, Milo Greene, and Superhumanoids - ultimately going on prolonged hiatus in 2010.

Spurred on by a raucous 10-year-anniversary show in January, 2016, The Outline join forces once more for a 2018 holiday reunion show at The Echo.

pwrTALK is a bicoastal electronic collaboration between Ben Flesch and Ryan Lynch. Finding inspiration from the hot springs of Ojai to the Russian bathhouses of New York City, pwrTALK strives to push the boundaries of experience through sound.

Drawing a clear distinction between recording and live performance, all live shows are improvisational and uniquely tailored to the environment.
