ackerman is an experimental rock group based in Ridgewood, NY and LA. Starting as the pseudonym and bedroom project of Jordan McAfee, the band's lineup now includes Matti Dunietz and Bernardo Ochoa. ackerman's open collaborative spirit is defined by the wide community of artists, filmmakers, and musicians that have contributed to the project. The band's newest single, 'Loverboy,' has been climbing up the charts since its release in July, ahead of a national tour in support of an upcoming EP in the Fall.
Small Forward is a psych-folk quartet from Los Angeles, CA.
Ritual Talk is a Brooklyn-based indie rock trio with lush instrumentation and exploratory vocal arrangements that tinge each song with an unmistakable color, on and off the stage. Led by songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Alex DeSimine and joined by drummer Tom Criblez and fellow multi-instrumentalist Dylan Gleit, each member of the band uses every limb they have to create a soundscape that transcends their three-person appearance.
Soft Streak is a two piece band residing in Los Angeles, California. Consisting of vocalist, Tori Schachne and producer, Colton Toy, the group formed organically in college out of a long friendship of two obsessive music listeners who started writing together. Together, they create electronic music that focuses more on feelings rather then drops. They recently played LACMA and KCRW’s Chinatown Summer Nights, and have an EP coming out later this year.
