Satsang with special guests Tim & Chitty of Nahko & Medicine For The People

During the Winter of 2018, Satsang invited Justin “Chitty” Chittams of Nahko & MFTP to be their guest drummer for an expedition play in Valdez, AK. While together in the Last Frontier, Drew McManus and Karl Roth collaborated with Chitty on a new song, recording it together in a hotel room. The next morning they called Tim Snider (fiddle for NAMFTP and featured guest on Satsang’s 2017 release Pyramid(s)) and together these brothers-in-music planned a unified tour for the Fall. Thus was born the June 2018 single release “Free (feat. Justin Chittams)” and the newly announced tour Satsang with special guests Tim & Chitty of Nahko & Medicine For The People.

This unique Fall Tour will take these two brilliant, conscious acts to fans in the Pacific Northwest, down the West Coast, up through the Southwest, and into Colorado. Each show will
incorporate the collaborative vibe that emerged from that Valdez hotel room. The evening will begin with a set of music from Tim & Chitty that will morph between solo and duo performances presenting songs from each of their catalogs redefining their role as more than just bandmates in Nahko & MFTP. Then, Satsang will take the stage for their critically acclaimed live show that presents moving songs that dance between the realms of soul, folk, rock, & hip hop. New tunes
from recent recording sessions as well as fan favorites and surprise cover tunes will permeate the crowd and leave them uplifted and inspired. Fans can expect the theme of alliance to come to a climax as the evening comes to a close when all musicians take the stage and celebrate the joy of letting go of burden as part of the process that makes one “Free”.

Satsang with special guests Tim & Chitty of Nahko & Medicine For The People is a tour that will engage and excite music fans in each market. They come together for the purpose of spreading the vibe found in the conscious music scene from which they emerge.
