Creature Canyon is the collaborative brainchild of Southern California natives Austin Steele, Ryan Amyot, and Kyle Victoria. They’re a high energy rock band with melodic guitar riffs, vivid bass lines, boisterous rhythms, and in-your-face vocals, whose sound has been described as “a groovy, spastic blend of indie rock riffs delivered with a bluesy throwback.” – Free Bike Valet
The band’s debut single “Life I Know” garnered initial attention from legendary San Diego alternative radio station 91X, where the song quickly entered daily rotation. The airplay led them to receive the locally-coveted status of 91X’s “local break” artist, which opened doors to supporting alt-legends Empire Of The Sun, Phoenix, and several others at the 91X’s ‘X-Fest 2017’. “Life I Know” has also enjoyed airplay on Los Angeles’ world renowned rock station KROQ.
Creature Canyon spent much of 2017 branching out into LA’s Eastside music community, showcasing, and performing as direct support for an extensive list of nationally touring acts along the West Coast. The band kicked off 2018 by recording in LA’s distinguished United Recording Studios and plans to spend the year rolling out new music from their forthcoming EP titled ‘Did You Want That’, available everywhere October 19th, 2018.
The Jacks stand by their claim, “We are not a rock band, we are a rock n’ roll band.” With a heavy influence from the British Invasion of the 1960s and 70s, The Jacks have developed a rare sound that is unruly, bold, and hard to be ignored - they won’t settle
for blending into the scene.
From their live shows to their recording techniques, they keep integrity to who they are and how they believe their music should sound. The 4-piece doesn’t hide behind auto-tune, click tracks, or backing tracks, what you hear is what you get.
With their new single "She's a Mystery" and an EP release slated for late October, The Jacks are “holstering loads of promise, so it’s time you gave them a listen, have the advantage of being able to shout ‘I heard ’em before they got famous’ when they crack the big time, and indulge in some great music” (One Stop Record Shop).
San Francisco based indie blues-rock trio Fritz Montana have headlined the SF's Independent, played Live105's Not So Silent Night twice, performed at Bottlerock 2015, and played with renowned artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Glass Animals, Royal Blood, Portugal. The Man, and Kings of Leon. Quickly garnering attention for their raw garage blues sound with upbeat, feet-moving, explosive chord-driven choruses, these men have dedicated their lives to the betterment of American music and the creation of heart-melting soulful jams. For fans of Alabama Shakes, The Black Keys, and Jack White.
