Named ‘Best Group/Duo’ in the 2014 International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA’s), acoustic-duo Ryanhood have performed more than 800 shows in 42 U.S. states over the past decade. They’ve shared stages with Jason Mraz, Matt Nathanson, Train, Lifehouse, and even been tweeted about by Ellen DeGeneres.
Ryanhood began as humble street-performers at Boston’s Quincy Market, when they were spotted by a college booking agent and thrust into the college touring scene. Campus Activities Magazine would soon name them “one of the most requested acts by college buyers all across the country.”
Their airtight vocal harmonies, along with Ryan’s rapidly precise guitar riffs and Cameron’s soulfully rich lead vocals, create the pleasantly distinguishable “Ryanhood” sound.
They have since relocated back to their hometown of Tucson, AZ, where they have won more than a dozen Tucson Music Awards including “Best Folk Band” and “Best Rock Band” (you can decide for yourself which is most accurate).
The LYNNeS are Juno award winning songwriter Lynn Miles and award-winning songwriter Lynne Hanson. The two heartbreak poets are multi-instrumentalists (piano, acoustic, electric guitar, mandolin), fusing tight vocal harmonies with hauntingly gritty lyrics. Individually they have toured North America and Europe, and their debut album Heartbreak Song For The Radio was released February 2 2018.
Belle of the Fall
Acoustic folk duo Belle Of The Fall has proven that musical soul mates do in fact exist.” -Vents Magazine
Belle of the Fall is Tracy Walton and Julia Autumn Ford, an indie folk rock pop alternative americana duo from CT.
Belle of the Fall met when Tracy produced Julia’s debut solo album in 2014 at his studio, On Deck Sound Studio. They spent the better part of the next year touring together as solo artists. Eventually they began to play on each others sets and sing harmonies together. In July of 2015, Tracy and Julia wrestled with the idea of remaining separate solo artists or committing to a duo. They obviously chose the latter. Tracy’s weathered voice and upright bass seem to be built to compliment the world class vocals of Julia. Tracy owns On Deck Sound Studio in CT and Julia now works there in the videography department. In April of 2016, Belle of the Fall released their debut album; “Earthbound.” 23 states and 175 gigs later and they are about to release their second full length on April 6th, titled “Rise Up.”
