Softer Sex Presents Heather Cole, Jessica Gerhardt, Lizzy Loeb

Heather Cole is an LA based pop artist and songwriter. She was born a fisherman’s daughter in Kodiak, Alaska where she cultivated her love for music at a very young age.

Cole later moved to Nashville, TN to study music at Belmont University. After graduating, she began touring as a background singer while also writing for her solo project. In 2015, Cole released “Hearts Will Break” which gained attention from iHeart Radio’s “Most Requested Live with Romeo” along with some other Top 40 stations across the country.

Heather recently released her debut EP entitled “One of Our Hearts,” which is also a visual project. Cole tells the story of one relationship beginning to end through music and film. She created the concept, wrote the script, co-choreographed the dancing, and was the overall creative director for this video project. Cole also co-wrote all 5 songs on the EP.

Cole is set to release her next single “Everyday Lover” on August 10.

Jessica Gerhardt (formerly Feronia) is a Los Angeles native and singer-songwriter who explores discernment, vulnerability, authenticity and love through her music. Her gentle yet resonant voice infuses her earnest, lyric-driven music with a soothing and passionate spirit. Jessica's music creates a space of communion with the listener, evoking solidarity in others' own experiences of joy and melancholy, contentment and longing. She is preparing to release a 5-song EP entitled "Be My Hands" later this summer.

Lizzy is an LA based singer, songwriter and guitarist and the daughter of jazz guitarist Chuck Loeb and Spanish singer Carmen Cuesta . She was born in New York City and grew up in both the US and Spain, and was raised in a household environment full of music and musicians. At the age of 15 she took up the guitar and began writing and singing her own songs. She released her first album ("The One") independently in 2007. After the release, she was signed to Universal Publishing and toured in Europe.

Later, she was cast as the understudy of the female lead (voice of Wendla) and performed in the Spring Awakening revival on Broadway. She is back in LA now, finishing up her new album (out in 2017) and starting to play shows in the area. She's based in the Los Feliz area and collaborating with many local artists.

Her musical influences are eclectic, ranging from James Taylor, Stevie Wonder and The Beatles to Ella Fitzgerald, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Mariah Carey and Sting. Her guitar influences are also diverse, including blues, jazz, and rock.
