Opera Ithaca: A Little Night Music

Join us for Opera Ithaca's second annual New Year's Eve Weekend celebration performance at the Smith Opera House, this year Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, "A Little Night Music," directed by Norm Johnson and conducted by Richard Montgomery.

Ron Loyd, praised by "The Sondheim Review" for his "opulent baritone and nuanced phrasing" plays Fredrik Egerman alongside Opera Ithaca's Lynn Craver as Desiree. Evangelia Kingsley returns to Opera Ithaca after her stunning performance in "Thumbprint" to play Madame Armfeldt. Mezzo-Soprano, Ivy Walz, returns to Opera Ithaca to play Charlotte after her memorable performance as Helena in Opera Ithaca's inaugural season production of "Il Sogno."  Johnathan Riesen and Gillian Lynn Cotter return to Opera Ithaca to play Henrik and Petra after triumphant performances in last season's "The Pirates Of Penzance" and Rachel Mikol, a winner of the 2018 Edward M. Murray International Competition of Voice, makes her Opera Ithaca debut as Anne Egerman. Opera Ithaca veteran artist Marc Webster plays Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm.
