Tony Andreason and The Trashmen are one of the early pioneers of Rock and Roll in the Twin Cities area getting their start in the early 1960’s, and then breaking out Internationally in 1963, with the iconic hit record “Surfin’ Bird”. Only The Beatles stopped the group from making #1 on the Billboard Top 40 Charts. Over the years Surfin’ Bird has been used in movies, commercials, and Television shows, most recently in the early 2000’s with its appearance in several episodes of Family Guy which caused the song to soar to #1 in the U.K. Tony now brings the fun and excitement of Surfin’ Bird and other Trashmen hits to the Concert stage backed by The Surf Dawgs featuring Zippy Caplan of The Litter. The Surf Dawgs began in 2001 and are well known in their own right with 7 albums selling worldwide and a track record of top venues in the Twin Cities area and the Midwest. Take a trip Back in Time.
