Santa Monica, California based indie pop duo Only Bricks are spreading their sun-soaked anthems with a debut EP entitled Foundation, released April 20. Comprised of husband and wife songwriting duo Anne DiGiovanni and Joseph Lewczak, the EP is their entry into the LA songwriting scene. Foundation is an eclectic and unique collection of rock, pop, and dance, mixed with their own individual and uplifting musical sensibility. Loaded with songs that will inspire joy with bright, multi-faceted melodies, poppy hooks, and lyrics that tell relatable stories of love, desire, and connection, Only Bricks’ Foundation is destined to be the soundtrack to your summer romance.
Since their crowd-electrifying live debut in April at The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, the new EP is already getting heaped with praise. The blog Musicotfuture, says it "will have you dancing all night." The blog Thinking Lyrically remarked about the songs’ "huge, infectious choruses that are perfect for summer!" Indie Voice Blog hailed "[t]he sweet vocals of Anne DiGiovanni, combined with the musical genius of her husband, Joseph Lewczak, create music that is a sheer joy to behold, and makes you want to get up and boogie." LA Music Critic Bob Leggett went so far as to exclaim, "[t]he new reigning King and Queen of Indie Pop music. Their new release, Foundation, is one of the best of 2018." Vents Magazine called it the "perfect California indie pop record." Substream Magazine exclaimed the lead single, "Twisted," is "full and rich while still moving and dancing with pop sensibility." Atwood Magazine raved that the EP’s second single, "(Your Love Gets Me) High," is a "fuzzy, feel-good and infectiously upbeat single."

Sasha Masakowski is splashing New Orleans music with layers of electro pop and art rock with
her latest 10-track LP, entitled Art Market, to be released on June 8, 2018 on Ropeadope
Records. Heavily based on the rhythms of her hometown, from swing to second-lines to bounce
music and beyond, this album features traditional songs reimagined and original songs
fashioned for a charming, energetic and edgy New Orleans music experience. All tracks
arranged and produced by Masakowski.
Vanity Fair Magazine recently listed Sasha as one of the top jazz musicians in the world and the
December 2015 issue of Downbeat Magazine named Sasha among the most innovative
musicians coming out of New Orleans to date. While Sasha still stands as one of the most
prominent genre-defying voices on the New Orleans music scene, she recently relocated to
Brooklyn, NY, where she continues to earn a reputation as a ingenious improviser, composer
and performer. She currently leads two bands of her own that range from traditional New
Orleans jazz (Sidewalk Strutters) to experimental electronic art-pop (Tra$h Magnolia), and is
also the co-leader of Hildegard, an electro-rock collaboration between Masakowski and guitarist/
sound-designer Cliff Hines.
Joseph Aleshaiker has been playing guitar since he was 9 years old. He grew up listening to classic rock bands such as The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, and his true inspiration derived from the alternative rock movement in the 90s. Bands such as Muse (his favorite), Nirvana, Radiohead, and Chris Cornell pushed Joe to develop a more unique take on the instrument itself. To expand his music pallet, he taught himself the Spanish flamenco style guitar at the age of 12. His music eventually evolved to the explosive yet calming signature sound we hear today combined with notes of rock and flamenco. The rest, as they say, is history...
