KBH Entertainment Presents:
Olio (noun) 1. miscellaneous collection of musical and literary works (English)
2. Oil (Italian)
3. Creature (Finnish)
4. Power-packed Rock/Funk/Pop Trio from Los Angeles (we like #4 the best)
Influenced by Prince, The Police, Jimi Hendrix, funk bands and punk bands these guys stir up an eclectic blend and serve it up hot! Whether it’s songs about break-ups, make-outs, shake-ups or four letter words, Olio produces electrifying, positively fun music. Olio consists of Arif Hodzic (vocals/guitar), DeHaven Carrington (vocals/drums), and Kelley Hill (bass/vocals). They've toured nationally including dates in Mexico, kicked off the Road to Vans Warped Tour in Anchorage, AK and shared the stage with a long list of legendary artists including King’s X, Living Colour, Reel Big Fish, Sum 41, Sleeping with Sirens, Dawes with Jackson Browne, ABC, Eve6, Dishwalla, Men Without Hats, Mr. Big, AWB, Loverboy, Missing Persons, Night Ranger, and Lita Ford. Olio has also recorded with some veterans in the business - producer/engineer/mixer Eddie Kramer (Hendrix/Zeppelin/Bowie/Kiss) recording with him in L.A. and the south of France; producer/mixer Joe Solo (Michael Jackson/Macy Gray); and producer/mixer Ross Hogarth (Van Halen/Keb’Mo’/John Mellencamp).
Building a Better Spaceship
Take a voyage through vivid dreamscapes, emotional flourishes and undeniable attitude with the L.A. four-piece modern rock band, Building A Better Spaceship. Sharing the stage with bands like Hard-fi, Avenged Sevenfold, Lit and Hoobastank, it is apparent that they can hang with the heavy-hitters in the touring rock n’ roll scene. Driving rhythms merely lay down the runway for a poetic uplift of powerful vocals. Song after song the messages behind the music are prettied by tasteful churns of guitar and bass. Building A Better Spaceship take the typical modern rock genre and make it meaningful once again with optimistic sentiments and have the ability to set the stage for intimate musical enjoyment - CRAVE Online
