Los Elk, Melt, Sky Pony, The Goodnight Darlings

Since their 2011 start as Skidmore College’s hottest band since Ratatat, Los Elk has quickly evolved from an up and coming college band into a full blown musical force. Relocating to Boston after graduation, the band quickly made waves as the city’s newest must-see act. Mixing Indie-Rock with flares of Funk and RnB, Los Elk’s razor sharp sound and high energy performance drew attention, and it wasn’t long before they were sharing packed bills with Rubblebucket, Magic City Hippies, Lawrence, Gibbz, Rustic Overtones, Ripe and many more. The band’s fresh approach to songwriting, which brings musical edge to creative pop numbers, has even landed them in Spotify’s U.S Viral 50 chart. From sold out clubs and festival appearances, to backyard acoustic gigs in the heart of Boston, Los Elk is a dynamic four piece that can currently be found tearing up the east coast with their motley crew of die hard fans and friends.

Founded in the Spring of 2017, Melt has quickly risen in the New York City indie scene. This eight-piece collective mixes rock with elements of RnB and Funk, creating catchy, energetic, and new performances each time they’re together. In addition to their dynamic live shows, Melt’s distinctive songwriting style fuses killer hooks with rocking jam sections and landed the band a #5 spot on Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 chart with their song, “Sour Candy.” Now, “Sour Candy” has over two million streams on Spotify. Melt has released two more singles since (“Inside” and “Oh Brother”) and played venues and festivals across the country, including Southwest Invasion (Austin, TX), the Rhode Island Music and Arts Festival, and sold-out shows around New York City.

The "indie pop aces" (NYTimes) of Sky-Pony welcome you to Candyland this February. The "adventurous, melodic, weird and absolutely brilliant" (Pop Dose) band will be serving up their usual dose of lush, lyrical, often cheeky indie-pop with a healthy splash of candy-sweet theatrics -- there will be ring pops. Rock concert meets performance art meets burlesque, you might say, or "tight, fierce, hilarious and out of their minds" according to The Wall Street Journal. The Brooklyn-based band is a collaboration between singer/actress Lauren Worsham (Drama Desk Award winner and Tony Award nominee) and her musician/writer husband Kyle Jarrow (Obie Award winner). It also features the talents of guitarist Kevin Wunderlich, drummer Perry Silver, bassist Eric Day, cellist David Blasher, and a rotating cast of backup singers including Gizel Jimenez, Michaela Bryce, Kristin Piacentile, Sharone Sayegh, Katie Lee Hill and Jessi Suzuki. Sky-Pony's debut LP Beautiful Monster dropped December 4, 2015 from Knitting Factory Records. Their discography also includes Say You Love Me Like You Mean It (EP) and the live EPs Raptured and Songs of Love and Misery. They've released music videos for The Watcher and Say You Love Me Like You Mean It. Their stage show The Wildness ran in New York City from February-April 2016 to critical acclaim, garnering a Lortel Award nomination for Outstanding Musical.

The Goodnight Darlings

Sounds like Karen O and Robert Smith falling in love dancing to a Timbaland beat. Their sound/style finds its home somewhere between where The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Santigold and early Blondie might hang out.

Kat Auster, (Juilliard Grad, SONY/EMI songwriter, MTV's Rockstar coach on "Made"), fronts The Goodnight Darlings.

"Rightly acclaimed for their explosive live show; well crafted pop rock with attitude and substance. Singer Katarina Auster has the pinup gleam of Blondie.."- Kings of A&R
"..Sounds like Gwen Stefani's evil twin." -The Village Voice.

Wilson brings the boom! with his powerful beats and luscious guitars.
"Wilson sounds like the 'Edge'"- Jerry Wonda (producer Fugees, U2, Justin Bieber)

Wilson recorded & played arena shows with grammy award-winning artist/producer Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill & Pras as the Fugees, who nicknamed him "the punk" and "the scientist" because of his frenetic energy and impressive array of 13 guitar pedals. Wilson is also session guitarist for artists such as Mary J. Blige, DMC, Lordz of Brooklyn, and Patti La Belle.

Their most recent EP, "All I Ever Wanted" was recorded at Brooklyn's Studio G (Iggy Pop, Black Keys, Tom Waits). Producer Tony Maimone (member of Pere Ubu, bass player with Frank Black, They Might Be Giants) worked with them on these new tracks, along with producer Nic Hard (Taylor Swift, Joey Ramone). Renowned musicians featured on the EP are: Joe Tomino (Dub Trio, Matisyahu) and a rap cameo from Emmy Award Winning MC Jabee (Murs, Run the Jewels, El-P).

The Goodnight Darlings are known for "visually stunning" music videos! The band released "Carousel", December 2017 with Director Zane and Carlos Leon at CML studios in Los Angeles, as well as "Empire Vampire" which premiered in Huffington Post, in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil members and Close Up Experience Prod.
