Marcus Alan Ward
Marcus Alan Ward is an amalgam of reality and fantasy; traditional and modern; spectral and visceral. With an electrically charged live show and a handful of releases touching on influences ranging from Psychedelic Pop, Funk, RnB, Disco and beyond, Marcus Alan Ward is the most interesting man in Electro Soul. His work has been featured in publications including The Fader, Pitchfork, Pigeons & Planes, Spin and many more. Mishka NYC blog writes, “There’s a connection between Ward and the sheer scope of the universe that we may never understand, but if you listen long enough it starts to make sense.”
The self-taught multi-instrumentalist and Cleveland, Ohio native released a pair of EP’s under the “Freeze-Tag” moniker (2012’s WLDFLWR_HNY and 2013’s Eskimo) and followed up with his debut full length album Last Night I Grew Tentacles – an Electronic/Alt Rock/Soul concept album rooted in science fiction, space exploration, and quantum physics, created by a curious young black male. Dropping his previous moniker, the record was released via Long Division Recordings in August of 2014 under his own name. Ward says of the name change, “It really draws distinction to the fact that I’m a one-man composer and that it’s just me; it’s more honest.”
Drawing from an imagination as expansive as the universe itself, the only child continues to create a portal into musical golden eras of the past w
A product of the ever-growing Columbus, OH music scene, the psychedelic pop infused 4-piece Captain Kidd returns after the release of their sophomore EP “Good Life”. Propelled by the success of their single “Freaky Love,” Captain Kidd’s evolution has taken them from the dive clubs of northeast and central Ohio, to supporting the likes of Glass Animals, Capital Cities, Wiz Khalifa, and Griz at some of the country’s premier music festivals.
Characterized by spacey synths blended with sultry vocals, the band has captured the attention of listeners from New York to New Zealand. This dynamic mixture of song writing elements has cultivated a sound that has been described as “fresh,” “dance-able,” and “celestial.” The band is set to release their first full-length album, expected Spring 2018.

Red Rose Panic is a Dynamic Hip-Hop Band, based out of Akron Ohio. They have been making music and performing at numerous venues, festivals and premiering on radio shows since 2013. Some of our top bookings have included EST Fest, #NUMBERfest (Athens, OH) and Sofar Sounds (New York, Cleveland, Akron, Detroit). Their live shows span the musical spectrum from Hip-Hop to rock, jazz to funk. These styles are highlighted through their eclectic and improvisational stage performances.
Originally a duo, established in 2013 by frontman/ songwriter Luminari and guitarist/ producer Styxx. While planning for their first live show, they sought out for more live sounds. They would go on to form the band Red Rose Panic, which consists of 6 members: Luminari on lead vocals, Styxx on lead guitar, Reo Dinero on Drums, SMOKEFACE on bass guitar, and Gold Frame Quis on Keyboard. Together, they are determined to etch a lasting impression within their city and across the globe.
Monique Atreece Zahir, better known as M/\Z and TenderTones , is a multi-genre artist and song writer from Cleveland, Ohio. Her sound and tonality, based in soul and experimental sonics, along with her ever-changing aesthetic have thrust her into a universe of loyal listeners and broad ranging tastemakers.
She has garnered considerable buzz from various independent single releases. M/\Z’ relationship with music dates back to her father, also a musician, and his studio, where her first visit as a 1 year old resulted in her picking up a loose microphone and gurgling into it. From there, exploration of sound began.
Following M/\Z's release of her debut EP "Pale Moon" she has seduced numerous crowds and venues from LA to CHI to NYC and has gained backing from a live band featuring her most recent collaborator, Sun A'marri as lead guitar, Peter D'cruz juggling bass and keyboard & Dante foley of Mourning A BLKstar on percussion. ( see their upcoming shows HERE )
Forth coming album and collaboration entitled "Eclipse" with artist/musician Sun A'marri is the latest chapter of this sonic fantasy and a deeper dive into her world,
