Golden Cinema

Charlottetown’s Golden Cinema is Andy MacDonald (vocals, bass), Derek Ellis (drums), Chris Robison (guitar, vocals) and Bruce Rooney (guitar, vocals). Their debut self-titled EP was recorded in 2016 by Charles Austin (Superfriendz) above a Tae Kwan Do gym in Halifax and mixed by Dan Griffin (Teen Ravine, Arkells). The EP’s two singles, “Lost at the Movies” and “Sunset Holiday”, found their way onto satellite radio stations and charted on CBC Radio 3. The band has been focused on writing new songs and are excited to showcase them at the Trailside Cafe on August 25th.
