Battle of the Bands

Our Battle of the Bands is an evening dedicated to local and regional musicians, aspiring and professionals alike, giving them the opportunity to take our stage and present their performance
and songwriting talents to an audience comprised of people who truly appreciate great bands, original music and live performances.

Many bands will enter, but one will walk away the winner. This event is a judged event where audience applause will choose the winner each night. The Top 3 bands of the evening get cash prizes and fortune and glory.

Cure My Enemy

Who we are defines our music. Our beliefs and creativity come together to exalt deep grooves and hints of raw spirituality derived from our roots in the contemplative Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, and the sidewalk currents of Atlanta, Georgia. Thick head-bobbing drums command the movement. Original unique uses of guitar and bass underlie emotion that is expressed in people's lives. The vocals wrap the music up in an outpour of soulful conclusion bringing realization of who we are as people existing in the world. Groove. Passion. Deity. Love. We hit where the soul is with City Groove and Rural Grit.

Midnight Express

Steven Phillips and the Midnight Express is a group of musicians that have come together and formed one of the best Southern country rock bands you've seen in a long time. Songs such as Lightning Road and Brayton Mountain that are getting high ratings. we have worked with Shooter Jennings, The Kentucky Head Hunters , Love and Theft, waymore's Outlaws, Diamond Rio just to name a few. Played the Georgia Theatre, Smoky Mountain for Center for Performing Arts in Franklin North Carolina, Woodstock summer concert series, The Daisy Festival, And some places we would be ashamed to mention.

The Royal Turns are an indie-rock band based out of North GA. Merging classic rock, folk, and blues influences with modern indie and pop sensibilities, they have forged a unique sound characterized by catchy hooks, haunting melodies, and rich vocal arrangements. They are currently playing shows throughout the Southeast and awaiting the release of their debut EP "Empty Hands" on May 4, 2018.

Cherokee Voodoo

Cherokee Voodoo consist of Jon Adams on vocals, Jon Paul Hodges on guitar, Adam Smith on bass, Travis Gay on drums. The group came together less than a year ago and began creating their own original music. What has risen from their short time together is a musical concoction that almost defies labels and genres. With influences ranging the entire rock spectrum, it's something you've got to experience for yourself.

King's Peak

Kings Peak's music is full of melody, speed, intricate rhythms and harmonies. Bringing the influences of great old and new metal bands and artists of other genres such as Mastodon, Metallica, Rush, Opeth, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Down, Shooter Jennings, and many others. This band is ready to bring a fresh melodic element to the world of heavy music while keeping the tried and true elements of the genre intact.

“Moon Bums, a funky blues rock group from Augusta, Ga. made up of four members; a guitar player, bassist, and a duo of drummers, aims to bring each and every crowd the most unique blues performance that they have seen in years!”

Free Hat formed at Georgia Tech in early 2017 by guitarists Jonathan Zalzman and Niko Maheras and bassist Taylor Nichols. The trio found a similar passion in shred, putting a focus heavy riffs and groovy jams. When drummer Joe Szwelnis was added to the mix in October 2017 the band was ready to take a big step forward. Taking inspiration from STS9 to Periphery to Miles Davis, Free Hat plays fearlessly with an infectious passion for the music they play.
