I guess you could say my journey with music is constantly evolving. It became evident that I’d pursue a career in music at a young age. I attended Cleveland Heights High School and the music department really exposed me to many different forms of performing arts. As a former member of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus and All-State Choir, Cleveland Heights Singers, and Acappella Choir, my last few years of grade school consisted of shows and performances all over the state. It wasn’t until after I graduated that I realized performing was all I ever dreamed of. Jazz, soul, and blues really resonated with me the most. I find that era to be the most emotionally raw and influential and tied to a lot of social injustices we are facing today. It’s become a personal mission of mine to emulate sheer, unmasked emotion in each and every one of my performances. Through this practice I can engage people from every walk of life regardless of their age, orientation, background, or ethnicity. Music is a universal language, if you listen, it can bring us all closer together.

I am often accompanied by my guitarist, Joseph Rangel, drummer Langston Maxwell, and upright bass player Kimberly Haffey. We makeup a badass quartet and play everything from standards, to post-modern, to original pieces.
