The Elegant Plums

From starting out as just wee little seedlings in the Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. music scene, The Elegant Plums have sprouted and grown and are now calling Denver, Colorado home. The Plums are a 5-piece band with influences ranging from rock, to blues, to funk, to jazz, to bluegrass and so much more. They have been fortunate enough to play at venues such as the 9:30 Club, Gypsy Sally's, The Rock & Roll Hotel, Jammin Java', the Oriental Theater (Denver), and many more. The Plums are known for their energetic live performances with surprises at every turn that will make you keep your head, and hips, on a swivel. From their original songwriting, to fun take on covers, and live shows that leave you wanting more, The Elegant Plums are a fruit with a juice worth the squeeze...

Dub Haiku may be from the small mountain town of Lyons, Colorado, but their music brings such pure reggae vibes you'd think you were chilling on a warm beach by the ocean. The 5 piece group spins their own version of the classic genre, bringing elements of dub, hip hop, and modern jam. The band formed in 2017 and quickly dropped a self-released EP, recorded just months after their lineup began to solidify. The four track EP demonstrates their original songwriting skills, and is just a glimpse of what the future holds for these crusaders of modern reggae. Dub Haiku has begun playing a steady schedule of local shows around the Colorado cities of Boulder and Denver, gaining new fans and venue support with their raw and entertaining shows, in support of such acts as Policulture, The Alcapones, and Highway 50, to name a few.

The band consists of original members Garrison Schulte on keyboards, melodica & vocals and Alex Kohler on drums. Multi-instrumentalist and producer Garrett Long later joined the group on guitar & vocals, along with Alex "One Take" Bullen on bass guitar. Most recently, the addition of percussionist Ricardo Ribeiro has contributed significant depth to the group's sound.
