Celebrated rocker Sebastian Bach is recognized globally as a vocalist, television star, actor and beyond! Bach
hit the spotlight in the late 1980’s as the iconic frontman for mainstream heavy metal / hard rock act Skid
Row. Since his departure from Skid Row in the mid 90’s, Sebastian Bach still remains one of the most relevant
rock figures in pop culture today, with three solo records, network television appearances on MTV, VH1 and
CMT, guest appearances on Gilmore Girls, Trailer Park Boys, Californication and other popular television
shows, and several acting stints on and off Broadway. Bach’s most recent album, Give ‘Em Hell impressively,
landed on the U.S. Top Hard Rock and Top 200 Billboard charts, proving his prowess decades after his initial
debut. Bach’s upcoming Harper Collins memoir 18 And Life on Skid Row is set to release December 6. He also
appeared in the recent seasons of the Gilmore Girls and Trailer Park Boys in Fall 2017 via Netflix.
There are great guitarists, great vocalists, and great songwriters, but Monte Pittman is one of the elite few who can truly lay claim to all three titles. With his fourth full-length, Inverted Grasp Of Balance, he has once again raised the stakes, delivering a riveting collection of full force metal that showcases his continuing evolution, undoubtedly expanding his devout – and ravenous – fan base. “I knew exactly the album I wanted to make,” he states. “I wanted to make the heaviest and craziest music I ever have. I really feel that it’s an album that will grab you and demand your attention.” The results speak for themselves, and from the explosive thrash of opener “Panic Attack” through to the epic strains of closing track “New Blood Keeps Us Alive”, the quality doesn’t dip once, making this one of the most essential metal releases of 2016.
To assert that Pittman has had a storied career is something of an understatement. His resumé includes an ongoing and fruitful collaboration with multi-platinum selling artist Madonna, having recorded and toured with her extensively over a period of more than fifteen years. Then there’s his first band, Myra Mains, his stint in the metallic behemoth that is Prong, and collaborations with a broad spectrum of international artists. If his time with Prong did not fully communicate just how much metal flowed through his veins, with 2014’s Flemming Rasmussen-produced The Power Of Three – his first release with Metal Blade Records – he compellingly blended killer riffs, blistering leads and gigantic hooks to deliver an album that was equal parts anthemic grandeur and in-your-face attitude, making metalheads around the world sit up and take note.
One Bad Son
In their twelve years as a band, One Bad Son (also known as OBS) has achieved two Top 5 singles and five Top 10 singles, has performed with the likes of Def Leppard and Judas Priest and worked with notable producers such as Gavin Brown (Three Days Grace, Billy Talent, Metric, The Tragically Hip) and Eric Ratz (Monster Truck, The Arkells. One Bad Son have clearly made their stamp noticeable in Canada to date.
The band has spent years touring constantly, converting audiences and gaining legions of loyal fans across the country; with multiple sold out tours, support and headline dates. OBS is one of the hardest working live Rock n’ Roll bands and are known for their successful and captivating live sets.
Over the past year, OBS have been working hard in the studio on their fifth full-length release and a leading single Raging Bill due out February 2017. Singer Shane Connery Volk, drummer Kurt Dahl, guitarist Adam Hicks and bassist Adam Grant agree that they have never been so excited to release new music to their fans. "This is definitely a new OBS. I feel like we've finally embraced what we are and what we are is Rock n’ Roll!! We've truly opened up and written songs that reflect the power and energy of OBS as well as expressing our eternal love for all the fans who keep Rock music alive!!” - Shane Volk
They couldn't have done album process this without the help of producer Gavin Brown and his work recording at the legendary Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, BC. "Gavin sees something in us that he doesn't see in bands anymore. Something collective and unspoken that happens when the four of us get in a room. It was our job to capture that thing and put it into song. I think we've done it, and written the best songs of our lives, but that's for the fans to decide." - Kurt Dahl
