Diggin Dirt, Warm Nights, Mia & Jonah

Reminiscent of James Brown, and Sly and the Family Stone, Diggin Dirt, is a band that is very well known around Humboldt County and the Pacific Northwest for uniquely blending together their influences that range from funk to blues to reggae to psychedelic-rock, to make something that is all together new and old sounding at the same time. Diggin Dirt are an 8 piece band with tight horns and an even tighter rhythm section and they never fail to keep the dance floor moving all night long. Excitement, top notch stage presence, and high quality original songs are sure to be delivered in more than adequate dosages with Diggin Dirt on stage. Whether you intend to or not, Diggin Dirt will have you moving from your head to your toes if you happen to find yourself in the same room as this extremely funky powerhouse of a band.

Warm Nights

Warm nights is a duo formed in LA in 2016 consisting of Adrian (guitar/vox) and Tommy (drums). natives of Los Angeles, Adrian and Tommy aim to make fun, serious, playful alternative rock that keeps you moving but leaves you with a sentimentality that can’t quite be pinpointed. both enjoy long walks on the beach but generally don’t enjoy walking.

Mia came from Hawaii and Jonah from the East Coast to meet in San Francisco in 2003, joining forces with other songwriters to form a music collective, TEAM. As multi-instrumentalists and singers, they explored the sound of multilayered harmonies pushing the boundaries of Americana song forms.

While members of TEAM followed their individual paths, Mia and Jonah forged ahead together to write and record “Shine I” in 2005 and “Hallelujah EP” in 2006. In 2008, they toured nationally in support of “Rooms for Adelaide”, and again with their multi-media project, “The Golden Ass” in 2011.

Mia and Jonah currently live in Los Angeles, and are preparing to release a new album in on September 7, 2018.
