Bruce T. Carroll Band
After years spent "lost in the wilderness" of music and commerce (i.e. building and running a venue in Larchmont, NY, the famed Watercolor Cafe), Bruce T Carroll has returned to his roots and his first and abiding love: lyric songwriting.
With the release last year of his first official album Ruckus and Romance, hailed by No Depression Magazine as "devilishly brilliant" and "intensely beautiful", Bruce has forged a new career as a singer-songwriter using irony and imagery as tools in trade. The great cast of musicians who helped make Ruckus and Romance such a distinctive work include Clifford Carter, David Spinozza, Marc Shulman, Sara Milonovich, Tracy Grammer, Nicole Alifante , Porter Carroll, Lincoln Schlieffer and Joe Bonadio. Ruckus and Romance has garnered garnered significant airplay worldwide, including being featured on WFUV's "On Your Radar" hosted by John Platt, who called it "an accomplished album, attuned to the zeitgeist of the moment". While promoting the CD over the last year Bruce has shared the stage with the likes of Slaid Cleaves, Jimmy LaFave, Dan Bern, Ellis Paul, and Rita Coolidge..
Bruce's brand new release, a six-song EP called Finding You, is a sort of lyrical tone poem, with the theme of finding, or regaining, something that might be missing, or lost. His song (and the first song on the EP) "Fox In The Henhouse", may, or may not be, his definitive statement on the state of the union...Produced by Andy Stack, this six-song record features performances by Andy (guitars, bass, keyboards), Sara Milonovich (violin), Lee Falco (drums), Jeremy Baum (organ, accordian) Brandon Morrison (bass), and Adrien Reju (vocals)...
Finding You is scheduled for release on June 6th, 2018, and will be available for purchase and download in all the usual places, including Apple/Itunes and Spotify...
Dan Zlotnick, 26, is an Americana singer-songwriter and guitarist from Somers, NY. Through his adolescence and young adulthood, Zlotnick honed his guitar skills as he pursued his childhood dream, playing professional baseball. On long bus rides between ballparks, Zlotnick began accumulating songs of his own, writing about his experiences and relationships along the way. In March of 2016, with his baseball career behind him, Zlotnick recorded his debut EP, and just over a year later, he released Bumpers, his first full-length album. New York State Music acclaims, “Driven by his soothing yet powerful voice, Zlotnick’s zen-like stories of love and life inspire listeners to seek out the nearest mountain range and get lost in a world of childlike wonder.” Zlotnick performs tirelessly around New York’s Hudson Valley, New York City, and beyond, logging over 200 performances in the last two years at venues like the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, Garcia's at the Capitol Theater, and the 2018 Pleasantville Music Festival.
