Record Year

Mrs. Gill - a trio from Los Angeles, CA with Cooper Jansen on vocals and bass, Carson Gordy on guitar, and Griffin Lescher on drums - have something to say and aren’t timid about saying it. Their lyrics are edgy, rebellious and push boundaries, their melodic sensibility and memorable guitar hooks keep fans coming back for more. The trio met in middle school, each honing their skills individually until life events brought them together musically in 2015. Coopers raw and emotional vocals capture audiences while Griffins drum fills and Carson’s innovative guitar hooks continue to impress. The addition of a second guitarist, Austin Landon in 2017 added to the trio stylistically, pushing their musical boundaries even further.  With their first EP recently recorded and set for release Summer 2018, and a fan base from San Diego to Ventura County expanding daily, this band is on the rise and one to watch.

Neil Young deGrasse Tyson is the musical lovechild of Eric Radloff (aka Okudaxij) and Nick Campbell (aka thorbzashmorbz). Aside from having the best band name ever, NYDTyson also brings to the table irreverent, yet introspective songs and a totally crushing live show. If you like garage rock brutality, brooding indie aesthetics and being called an “Egg” several hundred times, this band will seriously rock your socks off. Check out for their debut EP “If You’re Smart, Why Are You So Sad?” on all platforms.
