Lounge Act - Tribute to Nirvana
Since the beginning of our musical careers, in the early 90's, we've been lucky enough to witness the emergence of one of the most influential bands, not only for us personally, but of our time. Nirvana. Call it Grunge, Alternative, Rock, Seattle Rock or whatever you want.... Nirvana (whether they wanted to or not) became the forerunners for a movement in music that would influence every band after them.
Based in the northern New Jersey / New York City area, Lounge Act was formed in the fall of 2010 by three longtime friends’ who had a need to play music, and to play the music that we love (and have fun doing it!). Not only did the music of Nirvana help to define an entire decade and beyond, it defined who each of us are as musicians. So to pay tribute to Kurt, Krist, and Dave (Nirvana) in the purest and most genuine form - Lounge Act does Not only focus mainly on the 'poppier' singles that most of the general public remember Nirvana for.... but rather the deeper tracks into the Nirvana catalog that we feel true fans would love to actually have the chance experience live!
Lounge Act aims to bring a live Nirvana performance to those fans that either may have been too young, or just didn't have the chance to see one of the most influential bands of all time, NIRVANA.
Same in the End - Tribute to Sublime
Same in the End is a Sublime tribute band based out of New Jersey. It is comprised of Nic Russomano- lead vox/guitar (Local Heroes), Andy Davis- Drums/Vox(Uprooted), Stephen Lemos-Bass/Vox (Someone Say Something)
Rage Against the Machine Tribute - The Battle of Los Angeles
Since rage against the machine released their timeless self-titled debut album in 1992, their message and music is even more relevant now than it was then. The Battle of Los Angeles formed in 2006 with a respect and admiration for this iconic act. Rage Against the Machine redefined the way music and politics could be interlocked while fusing together hard-hitting elements of rock, rap and funk. The goal of The Battle of Los Angeles is to provide fans with the next best experience to seeing a live rage against the machine concert.
