In 2016, Ronnie Spector was one of the highlights of Glastonbury. The Telegraph called her performance “a masterclass in old school showbusiness [5 stars].”
Almost exactly one year later, Ronnie revived the Ronettes to rock out SF Pride. SF Weekly said of the appearance, “Ronnie Spector has as much staying power as she has charisma.”
Ronnie Spector is taking her “victory lap!” (People Magazine) In an expansive interview with People Magazine’s Music Editor Jordan Runtagh, Spector discussed her new single, “Love Power,” which later premiered in People, as well as a series of U.S. tour dates, including the first appearances of “Ronnie Spector & the Ronettes” since the 1970s, and a prestigious stop at Lincoln Center in New York City (as part of NPR’s Turning the Tables series).
AND “Be My Baby” was just ranked the #1 all time best girl group song by Billboard!
