Bobaflex was established in 1998 by the McCoys. The brothers are no strangers to the press, having ancestral ties to the most infamous family feud in American history, between the Hatfields and the McCoys which almost caused a war between the states of West Virginia and Kentucky in the 1880s.
Shaun said in an interview that the band's name was inspired by the bounty hunter Boba fett from Star Wars they have released three albums and are featured on the Gigantour DVD/CD. The latest album titled Tales From Dirt Town was released on 30 October 2007. The unique thing about the band is the two frontmen, brothers Shaun and Marty McCoy, who trade guitar and lead vocals, depending on the song.
Kirra is a rock and roll band based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with a strong emphasis on the word “Rock” meaning “Straight up and raw” as guitarist Daxton Page puts it when referring to their new upcoming debut album titled “Run Away.” Some of the bands influences range from Chevelle, Sevendust, Tool, Godsmack, Alter Bridge, and Seether.
ONE FROM NONE
One From None has been together for a total of 14 years with founding members Tony Mirci and William Folds. Numerous rhythm sections have come and gone, but in 2002, bassist Eric Dale and drummer Dave Gussenbauer completed the quartet that became One From None. The hard rock quartet has had much success in Denver and Colorado Springs, playing such venues as the Ogden, Bluebird and Gothic Theaters, Herman's Hideaway, Bushwackers, Union Station, Eck's Saloon, and Iliff Park Saloon.
One from None recorded their self titled EP in 2004 and worked with producer Chris Boggs in 2006 for their second album Scratch Tracks. Currently, the Denver based quartet is taking a straight forward approach by returning to their individual roots and writing new material.
Jackson Cloud Odyssey
Jackson Cloud is a young, naturally talented musician from Longmont Colorado. His performance of The Beatles "Hard Day’s Night" in his 3rd grade talent show was a clue that he might have a future in music, and so far that is the case. His instrument of choice is the electric guitar however he has found that his voice is an extension of the vibrating strings, which now work as one instrument. Old Blues and Rock & Roll came out very naturally at first, but as he started to write his own material, the sounds were much more. Not limiting himself to a technique or genre of music he is able to create a feeling, mood or moment. He is able to find a moment in life and replay it back to an audience through music and take them to that moment. Jackson currently performs live at local venues and clubs with a mixture of covers and original tunes. He currently attends Niwot High School and is the guitarist in the School Jazz Band.
