‘Get the Shivers’ at this monthly residency hosted by singer/songwriter Mackenzie Shivers, who started writing songs at age 4 after telling her mom she had music inside of her that ‘needed to come out.’ Starting lessons at age 5, the piano drives her indiefolk music, her fingers guiding a poignant ballad or “pounding the keys with the reckless abandon of a 11-17-70–era Elton John” (The Village Voice).

Galea has been on faculty at the Monterey Jazz Festival, and is currently pursuing an advanced degree in performance at McGill University.
