The group features current and past members of Tree Tops, The Burnin' Hermans, Cereus Bright, Maps Need Reading, Electric Darling and many more! The Shakedown Six cover entire shows or official releases at all of their shows. The approach to the music focuses on covering the original live performance and then adding personal flair to the improvised sections of the music. The result is a high energy blend of your favorite tunes that will leave you dancing at times and with a tear in your eye at others!
Natchez Tracers play a unique, song-based Cosmic Southern Funk echoed from the meandering, verdant hills of Central Tennessee. Natchez Tracers convey universal human themes & a sonic pallet refracted through the Southern vernacular prism.
Formed in 2014, the core of Natchez Tracers consists of three Nashville, TN natives: Chris Long (drums, vocals), Lewis Stubbs Jr. (guitars, vocals) and Josh Womack (guitars, vocals) along with Brad Clark (bass, vocals) from Peoria, Illinois. Often, the band has part time members Chris Emkey (keyboards) and/or Derek Pell (fiddle) fill out their live lineup and recordings. The band's 2016 release, Zeroes & Ones, captures the key elements of the Natchez Tracers sound with an expansive and emotion-filled salvo of genre-bending rock-n-roll. The songs on that record were culled from the band's ever expanding repertoire. Natchez Tracers' songs take the listener on a journey through both the heart and mind, while providing an infectious foot-tapping experience. The band has been broadening its footprint, increasingly playing more shows and festivals across the Southeast. In between gigs, Natchez Tracers are hard at work on their sophomore record to be released later in 2018.
