BASED OUT OF BROOKLYN, NY…
Jordan DePaul is a Pop Singer-Songwriter who continues to push the boundaries of the genre. Blending his lyrical honesty with his natural ability to pull a radio ready melody out of thin air, DePaul has earned himself a reputation for making listeners hearts pound in more ways than one.
Originally from Youngstown, OH, DePaul had plans to move to Nashville in 2009, right after the passing of his father, but didn't make the move until 2013. "The first couple of months in Nashville were tough," exclaims DePaul, reminiscing back to the nights he would play anywhere he could. It wasn't until his 2016 release, "Forces," that he began garnering some real attention. "Brighter Shade of Blue," the most popular single from the EP in terms of streaming, has racked upwards of 1,500,000 plays on Spotify.
Since his last release, Jordan has been focusing on what he describes as "working on what I want to give to people. I want to write songs I don't know how I lived without before and hope that listeners feel the same way about them." After touring over 60,000 miles in 2016, DePaul has devoted a majority of 2017 to writing and recording his forthcoming project (produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Mitch Dane). After hitting a bit of a glass ceiling, creatively, DePaul made the move to New York City in July of 2017. The first three singles, Sleepwalker, A to Z, and Neon are out now.
M. Moody is a funk-rock / alt-soul band from Cleveland, OH. What started as a solo project for front man, Matt Miller, eventually developed into a band format over time. The rhythm section delivers a shiny, syncopated, combination of drum & bass. The unit at its core consists of Matt Miller (Vox/Gtr), Todd Marshall (Bass), and Pat Boland (Drums), with Miller being the sole songwriter.
Miller started writing songs around the age of 17 for his high school project. He has since worked in Nashville where he learned to hone his craft. Vulnerable and slightly un-orthodox, these songs seek to evoke an emotional well-spring that "washes away the dust of everyday life".
Steve Wright started to circulate the Cleveland music scene during the summer of 2016 focusing on a "One-Man-Band" experience incorporating live looping and percussion. Since then he has played at many venues in the Northeast Ohio area including The Grog Shop, Beachland Tavern, Happy Dog, CODA Tremont, Musica, Blu Jazz+, Suzie’s Dogs and Draughts, and The Federal. His first EP, titled "Indefinite", was released in January 2017 with the help of producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple). His full length LP "Perspective" will be released October 2018, again being produced by Jim Wirt of Superior Sound Recording Studios in Cleveland. In addition to his solo project, he is a member of 2 other Cleveland Post-Rock bands: Reginleif and Balik Alistane.
