Kessel Run is a Progressive Funk band that was formed in Boulder, CO in 2016. Fusing elements of Rock, Jazz, Prog, and Electronic music over pulse-pounding Funk, Kessel Run delivers a high-energy concert experience that has something for everyone. Now, soaring through their second year with furious momentum, the Denver-based quintet has already completed a Southwest regional tour and has presented memorable performances in historic venues such as Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom & The Bluebird Theater in Denver, The Boulder Theater & the Fox Theatre in Boulder, and The Belly Up in Aspen. With the upcoming release of their first studio album in late Spring, a Midwest Tour on the books, and a long list of other exciting appearances all the way up through festival season, 2018 promises to be an exciting year for Kessel Run and their fans.
Legato, formerly Technicolor Tone Factory, is an American Progressive Rock band founded in Boulder, CO late 2010. Highlighting the band’s collective backgrounds in Funk, Rock, Hip-Hop, and Jazz, Legato seamlessly ties all of their influences together to smoothly deliver a new sound that is undeniably their own. Some of the band’s live performance highlights include national tours with headlining concerts at The Coors Event Center, The Mishawaka Amphitheatre, Bluebird, Gothic, Oriental, Aggie, Boulder, and Fox Theaters as well as festival appearances at Wakarusa, Euphoria, and Arise. They have also shared the stage with international and national acts such as Wycliffe Jean, Leanne Rhymes, The Wailers, Snarky Puppy, Moe., Dopapod, Kung Fu, Tauk, The Main Squeeze, Twiddle, and Perpetual Groove.
