Res: An Industry Diary

Philly sensation Shareese Ballard, better known as Res, burst onto the music scene and distinguished herself from the pack with her 2001 critically acclaimed debut, How I Do. The album quickly became a cult classic and made Res a force to be reckoned with. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Res will perform, How I Do— in its' entirety—with her full band: Tom Spiker (guitar), Kendall Lewis (drums), Ant Tidd (bass), Dai (guitar), and Anam (keyboard). In addition to "Golden Boy", fans can expect to hear and sing along to other smash hits "Ice King" and "They Say Vision".

Res is a female indie singer whose music seamlessly weaves an eclectic mix of soul, rock, and indie pop. As an independent artist, Res recently revisited her roots and solicited the help of über–producer, Martin "Doc" McKinney, who produced How I Do, for her upcoming album, Reset. Also scheduled for release later this year is an EP of Fleetwood Mac covers, titled ReFried Mac, produced by Philadelphia native, Tom Spiker.
