The New Music Series

This event was created to continue to pull together the scene here in Philadelphia. A scene that we all are proud to be a part of, dedicated to, and create within. Promoting the whole show, supporting all the bands/musicians, networking, and learning more about the people around you who share the same passion for music is what this night is all about. We appreciate each act sharing their music with us and putting their own stamp on the North Star's New Music Series.

Hopscotch Injury

Hopscotch Injury is a four-piece from South Jersey. Members include Gage Majeske, Rommel Ventocilla, Paul Giacalone, and Chad Fisher. They formed during high school, playing Iron Maiden and Red Hot Chili Peppers covers. in 2007, they began to form an eclectic style of indie rock.

Defu

Funky, instrumental, experimental and progressive music from Philadelphia.

Prime Homeless Time

Fuzzed out punk / experimental / psychadelic / freak folk.

Here's to Starting Over offers explosive and enticing originality, meaningful lyrics, and skilled musicianship in a music scene so overcrowded with monotony and meaningless trends. The rest is up to you.
