Alyssa Abshier and Gerard Carbarse (of Sleeptalkers) - Private Parlor Show (($10 before/$15 day of show))
65 Capp Street
San Francisco, CA, 94103
Doors 7:30 PM / Show 8:00 PM (event ends at 10:30 PM)
This event is 12 and over
Alyssa Abshier, born and raised in northern California, began her art studies at a young age with dedication to learning technique and skill in ballet, music and art. She also has a passion for spirituality and self exploration that only took off more when she learned to pair these two lifelong puzzles as a form that manifests what remains unspoken. Her art is a prophetic visualization that throws unanswerable questions out there, giving opportunity to leave a sense of awkward silence in the air but resolves this uncomfortable lack of security with the giddiness of youth and a whisper to chase.
Gerard Cabarse (of Sleeptalkers)
Sleeptalkers is a one-two punch of nostalgia and energy all in a tightly packaged gift for your ears and your heart. Taking cues from their roots, Sleeptalkers seeks to share their brand of familiar but unique take on alternative rock. With catchy guitar licks and memorable hooks, their lyrics explore themes of self-improvement, love, and staying positive, especially when it feels impossible to.
Gerard joins us tonight for a special acoustic set.
