Reeves Gabrels, guitarist for The Cure and a longtime collaborator of the late David Bowie, is releasing his sixth solo album on October 1st and celebrating with 14 shows on tour from Nashville to Boston and back with his power trio Reeves Gabrels & His Imaginary Friends.

A stellar musician, Gabrels likes nonetheless to keep his feet on the ground by playing small venues for home-town audiences when he has time. He sings as well as plays other-worldly guitar with the Imaginary Friends who on the current tour and album include Kevin Hornback on bass and Marc Pisapia on drums and harmony vocals. Performances include smartly-crafted original songs, selected covers that may surprise as well as delight, and fearless improvisation.
