Dream Wife

The pop punk trio - Alice, Bella & Rakel - Dream Wife formed within the walls of art university in Brighton. When they left uni that's when the rocky roads of Dream Wife kicked in full speed: Their reputation as one of the best new live bands in London is already cemented following tours with Sleigh Bells, The Kills and their recent US triumphant stateside debut on tour at SXSW which earned them praise from NPR, DIY, Stereogum, Nylon, Entertainment Weekly etc. Armed with razor sharp pop tunes and a take no prisoners punk attitude they’re are known to elicit pure chaos at their raucous live shows.

Drawing inspiration from 70s disco, 80s New Wave and 90s indie rock, Moscow's Pompeya creates unabashed pop music. The group's weaves vibrant harmonies, melodic synth lines, and punchy guitar riffs to create a sound copmared favorably to that of Holy Ghost! and Cut Copy. Their debut Tropical quickly earned the band substaintial popularity in their home country, which they supported with extensive touring throughout Eastern Europe. The US-label reissued their debut in November 2012, which was paired with a US touring debut. Tropical Remixes is the group's most recent release, which as the title implies, is a collection of remixes from the likes of Jimmy Edgar, Fred Falke, Felix da Housecat and Psychemagik, to name a few. 2014 will see the band's SXSW debut, full US tour, and new release Night EP, the first single of which is "Satellite."

Dr. Doctor has been years in the making for LA based songwriter Ralph Torrefranca. Originally born from heartache, Dr. Doctor has evolved into a solo project that draws chorus-laden and lush guitar melodies and blends this with Torrefranca’s poetic style of storytelling to create sounds unique to the indie & pop genres.

“Turbulence” marks the first full fledged release from Dr. Doctor which is made up of Ralph Torrefranca, Zack Greenwald, Drew Bruchs, Adam Newmark and Joe Liptock.

Torrefranca’s approach to producing was simple: embrace the live sound. This was done beautifully with co-producers Chris Lynch and Adam Rasmussen from the band Gardens & Villa, embracing techniques that not only shines a light on Torrefranca’s chorus-heavy guitars but also embraces the talented rhythm section of Liptock and Bruchs. Rounded out by the mixing of engineer Mike Post, “Turbulence” embraces modern pop songwriting with an almost DIY spirit.
