The New Music Series

This event was created to continue to pull together the scene here in Philadelphia. A scene that we all are proud to be a part of, dedicated to, and create within. Promoting the whole show, supporting all the bands/musicians, networking, and learning more about the people around you who share the same passion for music is what this night is all about. We appreciate each act sharing their music with us and putting their own stamp on the North Star's New Music Series.

New Shields

New Shields is an Indie/Power-Pop/Punk band from West Chester PA that formed in June 2011. The band consists of members Keinan Fry (Vocals, Guitar, Synth), Joey Leonard (Drums), Nick Lewis (Bass, Guitar, Keys, Vocals) and Nate Risley (Guitar, Vocals.)

Burned Out Still Glowing

Guitar driven indie/alt rock with emotion filled vocals and harmonies.

East of the West

bill s. preston, esquire. and ted "theodore" logan have traveled the circuits of time to convince bob marley, willy nelson and black sabbath to record an EP together at a guitar shop in san dimas.

Roof Doctor

Sincere and wholehearted Indie rock from Philadelphia. Five dudes with a song in their respective hearts.
