Riff It Up

Ron Lynch

RON LYNCH is considered one of the forefathers of alternative comedy. Ron was part of the Boston comedy scene that spawned such comics as Steven Wright, Paula Poundstone, Bobcat Goldthwait, Marc Maron, and others featured with him in the documentary, "When Comedy Was King." Ron studied theater in New York and improvisation at Second City Chicago. Presently, he is the host/producer of the popular "Tomorrow!" variety show, now in its tenth year, which occurs every Saturday at midnight in Los Angeles. His act is a blend of characters, improvisation, sounds, and other stuff. His credits include The Sarah Silverman Program (he played all the doctors), Conan, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, and several sitcoms. His voice can be heard on Bob's Burgers, Adventure Time, Dr. Katz, Tim and Eric, and the cult favorite, Home Movies, where he was Mr. Lynch. Movie credits include "Smashed," "Murder in the First," several independents, and many short movies, including a few produced with Louie CK. He plays drums in two bands, both mostly comics, still hasn't done his taxes, and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland this last August!

Mike Green

Mike Green has been quietly building a reputation for the past 5 years by working with some of the top comedic acts in North America as well as freelance work with the CBC. He's always eager to get onstage at any type of show, from the weekly open mic he ran for four years to the Winnipeg Comedy Festival which he was picked for 3 years consecutively. "Funny", "intellectual", and "ambiguously brown" are the three tines that make up the trident of Mike Green’s comedic style. Also, he's as handsome as he is brave.

Barbara Gray

Big hair. Big heart. Big mouth. Barbara’s ebullient stage presence combined with vulnerable material and goofy style have made her a quickly rising star in the Los Angeles alternative comedy scene. In 2016 she filmed sets for Viceland’s “Flophouse” and Hulu’s “Coming to the Stage” and she has written for the past three seasons of the hit show “Billy on the Street”. She recently co-starred in Comedy Central’s digital series “Deadliest Chef”, and she can be seen in the upcoming Nick Swardson series “Typical Rick” and MTV’s “Acting Out”.

Along with touring all over the country, Babs has made multiple visits to SF Sketchfest and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, where her performance was deemed ‘funny as get-out’ by the Portland Mercury. Her comedy has been featured on Huffington Post and Ellen, and her underground comedy show One-Two Punch, run out of her own living room in Silverlake, had a spread in the LA Times. She is also a regular at the top shows and venues in Los Angeles, including the Improv, Comedy Store, Meltdown, Good Heroin, and literally any place somebody will put a microphone and give her some attention.

Barbara is also a co-host of the hit podcast “Lady to Lady”, which recently surpassed 2 million downloads from listeners all over the world. The live talk show can be seen at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater and the Hollywood Improv. The show combines the roundtable discussions of The View with the antics and characters of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. Described as “The funniest podcast ever” by BUST magazine, the ladies don’t slow down to discuss whether or not women are funny…they just prove it. “Lady to Lady” recently wrote an original animated pilot and are currently in meetings to get that baby on TV.
