Fallen Riviera, Rene Breton

Will Parry and Steve Ornest began writing music together while studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. They sent their early demos back to music industry professionals in Los Angeles, and encouraged by their response, decided to make the move. Soon after arriving in Los Angeles they met bassist Matthew Denis and drummer Aviv Cohen, and Fallen Riviera was born. The band hit the local club circuit hard, gradually building a loyal fan base. They released their debut EP "Six Mines," which was ranked album of the year by Music Connection Magazine and awarded them the 2011 Lauren Picard Emerging Artist of the Year Award at Cornell University. This sparked a national tour for the band. Fallen Riviera recently teamed up with Casio and released a music video for their single "This Is Who I Am." They are currently in the studio working on their first full length album.

Rene Breton

Rene Breton combines surrealist imagery with lush melodic harmony. Their single "Botswana" was featured as KCRW's song of the day, they have been featured on KROQ's Jonesey's Jukebox, and their album Asleep in Green (March 2011) is book of twelve surrealist short stories released in conjunction with the music. They've been compared to The Smiths, Pink Floyd, and Peter Gabriel.
