Sara has also written for a few TV shows; The Stanley Dynamic (YTV), Sunnyside (City TV), & Spun Out (CTV).
Kate Schellenberg is originally from the East Coast. She got tired of the mild winters, pleasant people and being near the ocean so she packed her bags and headed to Manitoba. Kate has most recently performed at the Winnipeg Comedy Fest and the Rumors Roast Battle and got her start at the Women’s Open Mic in Winnipeg. It’s Kate’s first time performing at Oddbock and she is thrilled for the opportunity.
Chloe Radcliffe is a standup comic and writer out of Minneapolis – her comedy is all smiles, no matter how exasperated she is with the morons around her. She was a quarterfinalist at the 2017 Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and performed at Boston’s Women In Comedy Festival. In 2016, she took second place in three standup contests in Minneapolis, hosted by Acme Comedy Company, Joke Joint Comedy Club, and Sisyphus Comedy Room, making her the silver medalist her parents always dreamed of. She produces Minneapolis’ 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival and Real Shit, a comedy storytelling show, and can be seen performing at clubs around the Twin Cities.
Melanie Dahling was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has performed in the Winnipeg Comedy Showcase, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Empowherment. She has also won awards for her work as an Arts and Culture Reporter, and her short film Thyco is making the rounds on the festival scene. Recently, Dahling made the move to Toronto to expand her horizons and would subsequently like to borrow 40 dollars.
Ashley Burdett was born and raised in Winnipeg and she loves this wintery city. She has been performing improv for over 10 years, most recently with Blind Date and Bravo Rocket. She spent five glorious seasons with Soap Scum, Winnipeg’s longest running improvised soap opera. Ashley is new to the stand-up scene and she is loving every minute of it. Her style has been described as “thoughtful, honest, and wickedly silly.” She is absolutely thrilled to be in the Winnipeg Comedy Festival for the first time!
