D.O.A.: A RITE OF PASSAGE

D.O.A.: A RITE OF PASSAGE

AGFA present a newly restored presentation of the classic punk doc D.O.A.: A RITE OF PASSAGE!

One of punk history’s most important documents, 1980’s D.O.A.: A RITE OF PASSAGE follows the Sex Pistols on their first (and only) tour of the United States in 1978. Their live sets (featuring on-screen sing-along subtitles) are accompanied by those from other luminaries of early punk including Generation X, The Rich Kids, X-Ray Spex, Sham 69, and The Dead Boys. A largely incoherent Sid and Nancy receive an abundant amount of camera time as do young American fans, detractors, and opportunists. Additional soundtrack contributors include The Clash and Iggy Pop.
