Voodoo Glow Skulls
Voodoo Glow Skulls are a living legendary punk/ska band from Riverside, California that have been long overdue to come to British Columbia. The band's last appearance was opening for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones at Victoria's 10th Anniversary Ska Festival.
Formed in 1988, VGS built their band from starting off playing in backyard parties and clubs. Those small gatherings soon grew to sold out shows throughout their state and around the USA overall. In 1993, the band signed to Epitaph Records and completed a tour that brought them to Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and Mexico.
VGS signed to Victory Records after their time with Epitaph and have continued touring the world ever since. That said, the band recently announced this could be their last tour.
Los Furios is a high-energy rock/ska/reggae indie band that is quickly rising to international notoriety.Since 2003 they have been committed to entertaining their live audiences. With a devoted fan following, Los Furios performs an intense mix of reggae and punk infused ska originals (complete with a horn section) sure to get you out on the floor!
K-Man & the 45s
Straight out of downtown Montreal, K-Man & the 45s have been bringing an edge to the Canadian ska scene since debuting with their first full-length in 2011, Got Me Movin' . K-Man & the 45s have shared the stage around Canada and at festivals with such groups as the Slackers, the Skatalites, Catch 22, the Brains and many, many more. They headlined the first-ever Montreal ska fest evening and have played many others. They have headlined shows all across Canada and are prepared for much more.
