Arrested Development (20th Anniversary Tour)
The Rebel Yell, Philadelphia Slick

It's been exactly 20 years since Arrested Development (AD) burst upon the scene with a trailblazing album of Hip-Hop music mixed with soul, blues and funk! The group coined their style "Life Music". That music would go on to win 2 Grammy awards; Best Rap Single (Tennessee) and the first hip-hop artist to win the coveted Best New Artist award. With a mixed group of men and women, a focus on consciousness, melody & musicality, they opened the doors for groups like The Fugees, Goodie Mob, OutKast, Erykah Badu, The Roots & Black Eyed Peas. Without Dionne Farris's soaring vocals on on the single Tennessee, would the world have accepted a young Lauyrn Hill crooning on "Killing Me Softly" as hip-hop? Rolling Stone magazine crowned Arrested Development Band of the Year and VH-1 named them one of the Greatest Hip-Hop artists of all time!
The band stopped doing music for 5 years and now are back with an explosive 1TIME ONLY anniversary tour, where they'll rock back to back hits from the debut album, 3 years, 5 months & 2 days in the life of...". AD is not just looking at the past, they will also release a new FREE album to give to their legion of fans! The new album, "Standing At The Crossroads" (SATCR) releases 12am, August 6th.

With lead vocals by Domini Quinn SupaStar, and production from Khari Ferrari and Grammy winner James Poyser, The ReBeL Yell creates electric sounds to think and dance to. T.R.Y. brings hip-hop to electronica, politically incorrect lyrics to melodious beat breaks, and unorthodox style to the performance aesthetic. In other words, The ReBeL Yell is a revolution...
Philadelphia Slick feels obligated to keep their ears tuned into everything. They cherish rap music because of its ability to cut across styles, tying differences together with drum loops, bass lines, and poetry. Funk, Soul, and Jazz were starting points, but the group has since branched out to incorporate classical, tango, techno, and other genres into their music. What results is a sound that is “both retro and futuristic in equal doses” according to Under the Radar. At times a tight trio, at times a sprawling orchestral twelve piece, Slick is able to rock venues from small bars to large theaters with a consistently energetic and diverse sound.
