Austin Winkler formerly the voice of Hinder

After a three-year hiatus from the music world, multi-platinum singer/songwriter, Austin John Winkler is back with the release of his highly anticipated solo EP entitled Love Sick Radio.

Having sold millions of albums, with numerous hits under his belt, including Hinder's breakthrough hit, "Lips Of An Angel", Winkler is ready to share with the world what he's doing musically now.

Winkler's lyrics, distinctive voice and passion for music is stronger than ever with his new modern twist on rock and roll. The six-song EP featuring guest appearances by Sophie Summers and country star, Jessie James Decker, was released on April 22nd, 2016.

"It's a very exciting time for me", says the Oklahoma City native. "It's been a long time in the making and I think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised at the musical direction I took when I stepped into the studio to make this record. It's quite a bit different from Hinder or anything that I've ever done."

After parting ways with Hinder in 2013, Winkler began to take a different approach to songwriting. Instead of trying to adapt what he thought his fans wanted to hear, Winkler decided to take some risks and embrace his creative freedom as a solo artist. Winkler started his solo project with a clean slate and one thing in mind, "To be as open and honest as I can be with nothing to lose!"

Winkler dove into this project wearing all of his musical influences on his sleeve and never looked back. He grew up listening to everything from The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Heart and Elton John to Sublime, Michael Jackson, Biggie Smalls and Eminem, just to name a few.

"I hope poeple love the new sound and songs I've written...but no matter what, I am proud of these songs and hope they in some way connect with my fans both old and new. These songs really helped me get through some tough times and I hope they can also help anyone who can relate to these topics."

Austin John Winkler is looking forward to embarking on this musical journey again, but this time all on his own.

Velvet Rose

Velvet Rose's reputation as a young, talented and energetic band has, like their fan base, steadily grown since forming in early 2016. They began as a rock cover band out of Morris County, NJ but found their voice, through their original songs, in the alternative rock genre.
Velvet Rose is the Clark brothers, Brian (18) lead guitar and Jack (15) drums, Koryn Mendez (20) lead vocals, Emma Mangino (13) keyboards, vocals, rhythm guitar and Jacob DeBonnett (13) bass. Since forming in February, 2016, they've played throughout New Jersey, including performances at the legendary Stone Pony and The Stanhope House Rock and Blues Club.
The band recently recorded their debut EP of 4 original songs and continue to bring their high energy performances in venues throughout New Jersey and New York.

New Day Dawn

For years New Day Dawn songwriter and front lady Dawn Botti led a double life. She was an executive at a major media company by day and a rock musician by night. Her band performed all over the U.S., including at a number of major music festivals, such as South By Southwest (SXSW) and the Millennium Music Conference. Her double life lasted until June of 2012, when she was confronted with an ultimatum.

"My boss said to me either you're going to be successful here and you're gonna push your music back down to a hobby level, or you can't work here." It was a choice Botti had thought about on a regular basis but she says when it was actually presented to her, "it was the easiest decision in the world to make. I'm not giving up music."

Soon after she parted ways with her nine to five, Botti and her band consisting of drummer Gary Szczecina (who is also Botti's husband) and guitarist PJ Angeloni, finished their second album, Rise Above This, which will be released in February.

Musically, Botti describes Rise Above This as "anthemic rock, with big, bold choruses." This is due, in part, to New Day Dawn working with platinum-selling songwriter/ guitarist Chris Henderson (3 Doors Down), and John Moyer (Disturbed, Adrenaline Mob) who each produced tracks on the album.

New Day Dawn isn't Botti's first attempt at rock success either. Her previous band, Slushpuppy, received early airplay from Matt Pinfield on NYC's K-Rock (WXRK 92.3FM), back when it mattered and regularly filled iconic venues like CBGB's. Slushpuppy broke up in 2003. Shortly thereafter their bassist Cory Baker committed suicide. Determined to never quit, Botti started New Day Dawn, but then put it on the back burner when she became pregnant with her son. In 2006 the band started back up and released their first full length album, The Company We Keep, in 2008.

For Botti, she says one of the highest compliments someone can give her is that they can't get her songs out of their head. "To me, that means I've succeeded. I want you to remember."

After one listen to Rise Above This, it's clear Botti is a woman, and New Day Dawn is a band, you won't want to forget.

Corevalay

As one of the most original and high-energy bands to recently emerge from the northern New Jersey area, Corevalay are quickly making a name for themselves. With a diverse mix of hard rock, metal, pop and hip-hop influences, the band offers something for everyone and is similar to artists like the Deftones, Staind, Alice in Chains, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace and Rage Against the Machine.

Formed by guitarist/vocalist Gerald Vitale, Corevalay has a unique story… After jamming and recording with drummer and Modern Drummer magazine editor Mike Dawson, Vitale decided to leave his comfort zone and expand his sound to new and more challenging styles. This led him to lead vocalist Phil Barbetta who was discovered in an online ad. After exchanging tracks and viewing several YouTube videos Barbetta was brought in to add attitude to Vitale’s vision.

Rising to the challenge of fronting a budding band was no problem for the vocalist whose adversity is an inspiration to all who witness his performance. Despite being confined to a wheelchair because of a condition calledArthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita(AMC), Barbetta’s stellar vocal chops are as impressive as anyone’s on the scene. His style complimented Vitale’s perfectly and enabled him to find the sound he was searching for.

Shortly after coming together Vitale and Barbetta set about to write their own original music. With additional help from guitarist Jason Tremper, they completed their first album This Beautiful Ride. Each song has a unique flavor and showcases the creativity and musicianship of its creators. When the decision to form a live band was made, Dawson became the obvious choice on drums. Bassist AJ was added to the lineup soon after to complete the ensemble.

When witnessing a Corevalay performance one distinct element is apparent, these musicians come to play. With a high-energy and infectious attitude that draws the crowd in, the musicianship of each member keeps them there. Night after night, show after show, Corevalay delivers.

Every member of Corevalay brings a unique, complimentary style that has been forged with many bands and prior performances. Each live show has generated a buzz around the scene that continues to resonate. With very little promotion and exposure Corevalay is gaining fans at a high rate. The word is spreading and they are just getting started.

From the studio to the stage, Corevalay continues to expand their sound and audience, proving that good music has no limitations. Just as the title of their debut album implies, this band is enjoying every minute of this beautiful ride.

MoTHER may have been on the radar in 2013, however, their story goes much farther back. The beginnings of the band follows the friendship of vocalist Nick Fargo and bassist Johnny Bass, who have spent the better part of a decade drinking and playing music together. It took a bus from Pennsylvania to New York, five hours of jamming, and a late-night standoff that brought guitarist Mike Gowen into the fold. The trio would then devote many late nights to crafting their sound, a testament to their relentlessly powerful work ethic and a few bottles of their favorite whiskey.

Coyle called MoTHER’s sound “pure hard rock with a bluesy underbelly”, an apt description of the intersection between Gowen’s powerfully textured guitar work, Bass’ rock-solid rhythm work and Fargo’s driving vocals. This take-no-prisoners sound became crisply sharpened while on the road with accomplished rock colleagues Saving Abel, Fozzy and Buckcherry. Taking this momentum, in 2014 the band recorded their EP A New Life, marking the band’s evolution from promising rock prospect to legitimate contender. This energy further opened the door for the band, earning them opening slots for Red Sun Rising, Pop Evil, Godsmack, Slash, and Clutch among others.
